The Iraqi Private Banks League, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, organized an awareness workshop on Labor Law No. 37 of 2015 and Workers’ Pension and Social Security Law No. 18 of 2023, highlighting their key provisions and implementation procedures.

The workshop addressed the principal rights and obligations established under both laws, the mechanisms for implementing workers’ social security provisions, and the legal responsibilities of institutions and employers. It also provided an opportunity to address inquiries concerning practical and procedural matters, contributing to a better understanding of the legal framework among banking sector employees.

The workshop brought together officials and representatives from human resources, legal affairs, accounting, and auditing departments across banks, aiming to strengthen awareness of applicable legislation and promote its proper implementation.
