The Iraqi Private Banks League, in cooperation with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), held a graduation ceremony for participants of the “Certified Expert in SME Finance” program after successfully passing the final examination.
The program was implemented under the "Strengthening Public Finances and Financial Markets" (FFM) project, carried out by GIZ with joint funding from the European Union and the German government, in coordination with the Central Bank of Iraq.
More than 75 bankers from various Iraqi banks were trained through three training courses held at the League’s training center. The program content was delivered by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, one of the leading academic institutions specializing in financial education.
The program aims to develop the skills of banking sector professionals and enable them to deliver advanced financial services aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, as they are a pivotal pillar for achieving sustainable economic growth in Iraq.
