The second session of the "Electronic Payment for Financial Stability in Iraq" conference, organized in collaboration between the Prime Minister's Office, the Central Bank, and the Iraqi Private Banks League, discussed the roadmap for developing electronic payment systems in Iraq. This session featured the participation of Qasim Al Dhalimi, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Adnan Asaad, General Director of the Payment Department at the Central Bank, and Muthanna al-Azawi, Chairman of the Governance Committee of Baghdad Provincial Council. The session was moderated by Ali Tariq, Executive Director of the Iraqi Private Banks League. The session covered several key topics, including the development of electronic payment infrastructure, enhancing trust and security, supporting innovation and service development, and reviewing successful experiences in transitioning most government institutions to electronic payment systems.
