The Iraqi Private Banks League, in partnership with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), has launched the second round of the “Certified Expert in SME Finance” training program, a series of accredited trainings conducted under the Strengthening Public Finances and Financial Markets (FFM) project, Implemented by GIZ and jointly funded by the European Union and the German government, in coordination with the Central Bank of Iraq.
The program aims to enhance the professional capabilities of banking sector employees, enabling them to deliver advanced financial services that support small and medium-sized enterprises, recognized as a cornerstone of sustainable economic growth. The program will consist of five training courses, each lasting 80 hours, to be conducted in 2025 by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
